Gotland Yarn from Sweet Sheep

We have a new run of yarn that is just absolutely delightful!! Our farm animals are loved, fed, cherished, and cared for. We have a small farm in central North Carolina that raises Gotland sheep. We worked with Waitsburg Wool Works for this batch of yarn and we are so very pleased!! The comments from everyone so far have been that they are surprised at how soft this yarn is! The only blended yarn is our fingering/sock yarn (blended with Merino-20% and nylon-10%). The sock yarn is either Gotland Gray or Uncle Maddox (our white Gotland cross). The sport weight is our younger sheep (lambs) and the 3-ply worsted is our stronger older (2-3-year-olds). Don't think for a moment that the older isn't as soft because you will be pleasantly surprised! Update: We dyed some with acid dyes and two with natural dyes.
